Report: Russian cbank can cut key rate by 0.5 pp in Oct–Dec
MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank will unlikely reduce the key rate until October, but it can taper it by 0.5 percentage points in October–December, analyst of Morgan Stanley Alina Slyusarchuk told Bloomberg in an interview posted Tuesday.
In January, the central bank kept the interest rate at 11% and changed the rhetoric profoundly, saying that its monetary policies might become stricter in the future.
